I'm Excited To Serve (8-13-15)

Hey, so we're allowed to write y'all tonight just to let you know all we're safe and sound. i hope all is well at home! Everything is great here, and there's about 2200 missionaries here at the MTC right now. I love having so many worthy elders and sisters everywhere, and it brings such a great spirit. You can sing a song, in either language, or someone just says one simple gospel truth and you feel the strength in their words. Everything is wonderful here and I love it....I think i might change as time goes on, but you push hard and study hard, and I'll accomplish what i came here to do. I have a great companion, who's from Sulpher springs, Texas, and we both have a great desire to learn the language and work hard. It makes things way easier when we have the same goals! my instructor is the best in the whole place, everyone is jealous of us. His name is brother Belchior, and he's from Africa. Have a great district and we met with our branch president and his counselors today, I actually got assigned as the district leader for our district, pretty exciting, I'm excited to serve. my P-day will be on Tuesday, and we only get an hour to email, so my emails while in the mtc may be brief, i apologize, but I'll do my best. the food is not all that great honestly, but life goes on. I also heard that this sunday the nashville tribute band will be here to play for all of us.So, love you guys and hope all is well!
